Kyle Langdon

Kyle is currently a freelance scenic carpenter and stagehand in the South Bay Area, California. He has a background in scenic construction and technical direction. He also has experience with stage management, scenic design, and lighting.

Biography

Kyle started working backstage as a runner, and during the course of his career has worked as a stagehand, a stage manager, and everything in-between. On a typical show, he can be found somewhere in the wings or on the fly rail. Kyle is also a skilled scene carpenter, and is very familiar with scenery construction practices and the operation of shop machinery.

His focus during production is to work as part of an efficient crew that supports the production to the best of its abilities. He is always looking for ways to integrate other experience to his work on the stage. He strives to be a resource for his co-workers, sharing what he has learned and encouraging them to do the same.

Kyle graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts and US History from Santa Clara University.
